Sherie Adams Christensen co-hosts a podcast entitled Two Therapists Talking with fellow Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, David Thompson. They discuss many important mental health topics, including sexual addiction and betrayal. Sherie has been a guest on several other podcasts including UnashamedUnafraid, and Pathway to Recovery.
Sherie Adams Christensen's book My Body Is A Gift From God: Introducing Conversations to Safeguard Children helps parents begin teaching healthy sexuality as early as the toddler years. Its gentle, age appropriate language allows for the discussion of difficult topics, while encouraging positivty around bodies. Each page invites conversations about different aspects of healthy sexuality, from caring for one's body, to abuse. It is designed to allow parents to incorporate their own value systems as they read and teach, and builds foundational connection critical for safeguarding children.
